FAFSA Completion Workshop
Bring your tax information and FSA ID to this hands-on session where our financial aid counselors will guide you through completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). We’ll cover common mistakes, new changes to the form, and answer your specific questions.
Understanding Your Aid Package
Learn how to interpret your financial aid award letter, understand the different types of aid offered, and make informed decisions about which aid to accept. We’ll also discuss how to determine your out-of-pocket costs and plan your budget accordingly.
Loan Repayment Strategies
Designed for students approaching graduation or considering taking out loans, this workshop covers loan repayment plans, loan forgiveness programs, consolidation options, and strategies for managing loan debt effectively.
Scholarships: Finding and Applying
Discover resources for finding scholarships, techniques for creating compelling applications, and strategies for managing scholarship deadlines. We’ll share tips from successful scholarship recipients and review sample scholarship essays.
Financial Literacy for Students

Special Circumstances Appeals
Learn about the process for requesting reconsideration of your financial aid if you’ve experienced special circumstances not reflected in your FAFSA, such as job loss, medical expenses, or family changes.

Specifically for graduate students, this workshop covers assistantships, fellowships, research funding, conference travel grants, and strategies for balancing work and academic commitments.
