Transcripts
If Offered Admission:
All applicants must upload a copy of their transcript for each college or university attended, including the transcript key or legend. At this stage, unofficial transcripts are acceptable for application purposes. Transcripts should not be mailed or sent directly from your university to UOS for the application process. Ensure that your document meets the file upload requirements before submission.
Final, official transcripts will be required from every institution where a degree was earned. These must be sent directly from the issuing institution to the Office of Graduate Admissions.
Requirements
Transcript Records
Uploaded transcripts must clearly show:
• Student’s full name
• Name of the issuing institution
• List of courses taken and corresponding grades
Translation Requirements
If transcripts are in a language other than English, an official English translation must accompany the original document.
Uploading Sealed Transcripts
If you have sealed transcripts, you may open them for scanning purposes. Upload the scanned version in black and white at no more than 300 dpi resolution. Files should be under 10 MB. Screenshots from student portals are not accepted as valid submissions.
Transcripts with Certified Digital Signatures
If you encounter issues uploading a digital transcript with a certified digital signature, follow these steps:
1. Print the digital document.
2. Scan the printed copy and upload it to your application.
Note: Watermarks such as “Invalid Once Printed” are acceptable for the application process. If scanning is not possible, email the original digital transcript to admissions@tuos.org after submitting your application.
International Applicants
• Transcripts from foreign institutions may vary in program length compared to U.S. degrees. Programs shorter than three years are not considered equivalent to a bachelor’s degree.
• Applicants with transcripts in languages other than English must submit both the original document and the official English translation.
